Bathing is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing activities of the day. The soap you use when you shower not only affects your skin, it also affects your mood. My products give you a different level of daily cleansing and purification as these products not only get you clean but leave you feeling fresh and revitalized. The inspiration of my soaps and bath products come from a vision years ago on how to give my family a soothing bath experience. Ingredient Properties

COCONUT

Coconut

Can be used in soap or other bath products to bring some of the benefits of eating the coconut to your skin. Moisturizer for Skin – The numerous minerals and nutrients in coconut are great for your skin. The oil can also work to help remove dirt and dead cells from the skin. Acne – The aforementioned acids in coconut oil (lactic, capric, etc) and milk can also have benefits when it comes to acne treatment. The antimicrobial properties of these fats can act to prevent or help reduce current acne breakouts. Skin Firming – Wrinkled skin can be caused from the elasticity in your skin breaking down as you age. The antioxidants from coconut work to stop this both preventing and helping to reduce skin aging.

CUCUMBER

Cucumber

Is known as a super-food for skin. It’s juice is composed of proteins, lipids, Vitamin C, and a myriad of minerals that possess moisturizing and emollient properties. It also has an astringent effect, and can soothe and relieve puffy skin. Cucumber extract has natural shedding properties which aids in your skin's natural peeling of its outer layer during cell turnover, keeping your skin looking fresh and youthful. It is also an astringent, that helps to tighten and firm your skin, to revitalize it and helps assist in the reduction of skin aging. The proteins and lipids it contains give your skin a beautiful smooth feel. Cucumber is similar in properties to aloe vera, but also feels great, looks great and smells great. And it is good for minor cuts and abrasions.

EUCALYPTUS

Eucalyptus

Antibacterial and anti-fungal properties due to its many topical benefits, eucalyptus oil is finally making its way into natural soap. Eucalyptus oil has a strong but pleasant scent that combines well with other essential oils. It is not considered a feminine scent, so it works well for men, even though many women seems to like to scent as well. Its analgesic qualities can soothe muscle pain and soreness, so it’s perfect for a post-workout shower or bath. The oil can help soothe pain, itching of rashes and other skin irritations. Inhaling the oils in eucalyptus soap can help loosen congestion, ease coughs, help treat mild asthma, and sinus problems. Eucalyptus oil can also be blended with other common essential oils used in soap-making, adding to the aromatherapy benefits of soaps. In addition to that, washing minor cuts, abrasions, and burns can heal quickly, due to the antimicrobial, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties of eucalyptus oil in soaps. Eucalyptus oil has many healing and medicinal properties that make it an ideal addition to organic and all-natural soaps. When combined with other oils, its powerful scent is reduced but still remains capable of acting as a deodorant. It’s the perfect scent for guys who care about their skin.

HONEYDEW MELON

Honeydew Melon

Is a part of the gourd family, like cucumbers, its juice has been touted in helping to sustain and saturate the skin to help reduce wrinkle folds. One of the amazing benefits of melon is that it contains collagen which maintains the integrity of the cell structure in all connective tissues including skin. It also speeds up wound healing and maintains skin firmness. Melons like honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon help tone your skin due to the presence of vitamins A, B and C. It is a great moisturizer.

LAVENDER

Lavender soap has some stress-relieving capabilities and can even help you fall into a deep sleep. Treating Cuts, Wounds and Insect Bites Lavender oil contains strong antibacterial properties that help to heal cuts and abrasions on the skin. It is also a powerful antiseptic that’s capable of killing disease-causing pathogens that inhabit your skin. Lavender soap will also smoothen your skin and make it glow.

LEMONGRASS

Lemongrass oil is an essential oil that is extracted from the leaves and stalks of the lemongrass plant (Cymbopogon citratus). It has a fresh, lemony scent and a yellow to amber color.

MANGO

Mango

Can be used both internally and externally for the skin. Mango's help clear clogged pores and eliminate pimples. Lately, Fruit has become a "go-to" ingredient in skincare products because of it's many benefits. Mango for skin suffering from acne, premature aging, dark spots, and dullness, makes it a no-brainer for adding to your skincare regimen. Mango fruit is a wonderful source of vitamins and minerals and plays an important part in producing collagen to firm the skin. The mango pulp, extracts, butter, and even the skins, are used as natural skincare ingredients to protect, revitalize, and smooth your skin. Most often, you'll see mango extract and mango butter in products.

MINT

OLIVE OIL

Olive Oil

Naturally packed with anti-aging antioxidants and hydrating squalene, making it superb for hair, skin, and nails. Antioxidant Protection Olive oil contains three major antioxidants: vitamin E, polyphenols, and phytosterols. Antioxidants, when topically applied, may help protect the skin from premature skin aging. Vitamin E partly accounts for the anti-aging benefits of olive oil because it helps restore skin smoothness and protects against ultraviolet light. Hydroxytyrosol, a rather rare compound found in olive oil, also prevents free radical damage to the skin. PEACHES

Peaches

Are a vibrant source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and are invigorating for your skin. Peaches help to regenerate your skin tissue and when applied to the skin and rinsed off with lukewarm water it not only moisturizes the skin but also leaves it supple and soft. You can also rub peach juice on your skin to get its glow back. It can also be used in oily skin care regimens to improve the skin. A great source of Vitamin C, peach helps to remove dark circles and blemishes. Its macro-nutrients also help in removing wrinkles and hence, peach is a common ingredient in anti-ageing face masks. It tightens the skin’s pores and does wonders for a tired skin.

SHEA BUTTER

Shea Butter

What Is Shea Butter? Shea butter is a skin super food that comes from the seeds of the fruit of the Shea (Karite) tree and is naturally rich in vitamins A, E and F. It offers UV protection (SPF ~6) and provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production. Shea butter has been used in Africa and many other locations for years to improve skin and hair. SHEA BUTTER Benefits Moisturizing: The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing for skin. It is often used to remedy dry skin and to help protect the skin’s natural oils. Reduces Inflammation: A 2010 study found that due to its Cinnamic acid and other natural properties, Shea butter was anti-inflammatory. One compound in particular, Lupeol Cinnamate, was found to reduce skin inflammation and even potentially help avoid skin mutations. This also makes it beneficial for some people with acne. Skin Smoothing: Shea butter aids in the skin’s natural collagen production and contains oleic, stearic, palmitic, and linolenic acids that protect and nourish the skin to prevent drying. With long-term use, many people report skin softening and strengthening as well as wrinkle reduction.

TEA TREE OIL

Tea Tree Oil

Is a popular choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It's thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin. Tea Tree Oil is a plant extract which has been extensively researched within the last few years as it is believed to have many healing benefits which can treat multiple skin conditions. The essential oil is extracted from the Melaleuca alternifolia, a shrub like plant which has several antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. As Tea Tree Oil is the gentler natural alternative to medications and harsh chemicals found in cosmetic skincare products, many people prefer to initially use products containing Tea Tree Oil as the active ingredient to resolve their skin problems such as Dry Skin and Eczema.
